Yes I am going for sure. I will be selling most of my Black Australorp's. I lost both of my Rooster this winter and decided to get more into my lf cochin and Cream Legbars.

It was warm enough yesterday that I got to stand out side and watch my girls play in the mud and chase each other for some goodies they found.

The melt is HERE!!!

Well we had some nice melting action going on too... then it snowed yesterday

But this time it will melt, not stay for the next 5 months. It is good we are getting a slow melt too with all that we had. I think if we got a bunch of rain right now, it would be really ugly from flooding. Slow and steady is good for me. My girls are finally giving up the goods. About half of them are back to laying and starting to fill my basket. I got over 3 dozen eggs today, so I am happy. I also just hatched 25 chicks yesterday, so I am doubly happy. 8 of those were the cutest darned Easter Eggers! Some have cheeks so puffy that I can barely see their eyes!

The snow is really raining on my spring feeling. But it can't keep my chicks from hatching soon. Lockdown on Sunday! So excited.

ou i forgot to ask.. but ill mention it now.. you have silkies right.. i know they are bantam but they are going to be a gift.. can i get 2 hatching eggs with the rest of my eggs?? PLS

Sure, if the dummies would start laying! There are still a couple of pens who have yet to start giving me eggs, but this week should do it. I just got quite a few today so there are more laying.
