LOL// Like Xmas!

You willl love the Cochins she has they are beautiful..

and she has ducks. But I am unable to get into  ducks.  they remind me of geese, which I learned to hate last summer.

I can't wait I hope she will show us her birds!!

NO,, I either wrote that wrong, which seems nearly impossible because I am perfect, and never make errors or you read it wrong.

I should have used a period. Two distinct and separate thoughts.

She probably will....

And YOU look at the creamettes and drool!

BTW I have a bunch of Bert eggs that were suppose to hatch yesterday and not one pip yet.

How old is he?

If you pick him up put him under your arm and walk around with him like he is a lap dog, petting him and monkeying with his head he will hate it and learn he is inferior. BUT he would also taste good.

JJ and Ed where having a dispute tonight, when it got too carried away and I thought they might hurt each other I went over and picked up JJ put him under my arm and carried him back to my chair and beer. I held and petted him for about 10 minutes. he hates when I play with his snood and wattle, so I played with them.   I wanted to reinforce in him he is not boss.  He is extremely friendly and  sub servant to humans.  HOWEVER, when my grand kids come I always make sure I stay between JJ and the kids. If they pet him, I am holding JJ.

ED just runs from me. He understands his place in society is just one step above Ole, I am not sure why he decided to fight JJ, it normally does not happen.

8 weeks. First I thwomped him and then picked him up and carried him around. I have way too many roosters to keep one with such poor manners.

I agree you dont want to pass his genes down. People should also breed for temperament.

jbenson, don't beat yourself up too much - as you said, life happens and we do our best.

This morning I put 4 broodies in jail - locked them in the run for the little coop. Had to tarp it because I shut the door to the coop since it is full of nice fresh hay and they would start nesting in there. They are miserable - running back and forth at the door, growling, all puffed up.

Little Seaquist is the angriest broody I have ever seen - she is so outraged that she cant get back to her empty nest that she stands tall, flaps her wings hard, and screams!

Seaquist is the white seagull looking bird. I have no idea what breed she is, she came from the totally screwed up order from the new brighton lady. could be icelandic...but who knows.

Here she is as a pullet. Lays tiny white eggs that are really round.

Any ideas?

Triplell won't answer her phone and I dont know her address. I hope she call soon cuz we r almost to Brainerd!!
