Klop Klop you should post a picture of your Allis. Fun to keep them running nice and looking good, with a feathered audience no less.

FIL has one in his garage and I think I should take it out and clean it up. It's a reliable thing.

Not sure if it qualifies as 'looking nice' but here she is. Its a working tractor, not a show queen. Originally purchased by my great grandfather, used to farm 160 acres by my grandfather. My dad bought it from the estate when my grandpa passed away and he in turn gave it to me when I bought my farm and was in need of a tractor. My grandfather was a connoisseur of all AC tractors and had 6 of them in his estate. He would restore them, drive them in a few parades, then sell them and start over again. He had this WD45 and a C with a mower that he used around the farm.

My DH bought 1 G that is in whole but not running condition, and another 1+ parts to work on a project he has laid out for an electric tractor for small scale farming/raised bed gardening. He's been working on getting the old granary set up so he can work on it all.

When my middle spawn was a little kid, he used to tell us he was going to grow up to be a Bigfoot hunter. LOL We let him dream. He is now in his Senior year and has forgotten about that. I reminded him one day recently for a good laugh. Now he plans to be a luthier and is saving to go to a school in Phoenix.

i do hope to add another newer tractor to the farm. probably next year. My allis only has 1 way hydraulics and no 3 point and i would like to have a tractor with both. plus that way i can take some of the work off the WD It is showing its age in some ways and I would like it to last quite a bit longer for sentimental reasons.

an electric tractor, huh? that thought has never crossed my mind. he must be quite handy!

I actually have thought about getting an Orange tractor. I was think C or WD. My Grandpa farmed with them. I have fond memories of them. I want something to pull a mower and a 1 or 2 bottom plow. Maybe even a cultivator.

I told my DW I was thinking of selling my Bobcat and getting a tractor. She said I could not sell my bobcat, just buy a tractor. How can I argue with that logic?

The only tractors I have here now are little ones, I want an old real one.

I hate to gang up on you Cyrus...but here he is up in Togo.

How did you get his picture?

He stops in at my cabin now and then for a beer, but refuses to let me take his picture. He did ride with me to the store in Cook one night, but refused too get out of the truck.

Nice guy, if he just wasn't so shy. Also he eats his meat a little on the rare side for me.
