Well if you decide you want some new male duck genes I got some for you. I can't find any local female ducks so I may just have to order a couple. Have been looking at metzer farms. They sell sexed ducks. I just don't know about ordering this time of year.... At least the Muscovies aren't all male. I have three females and two males. So I should still get rid of one male. The prettiest older rooster couldn't stand the Guineas. He disappeared into the tree line and never came back. So I only have the other one. Ugh. He is doing amazing though. I got the chicks at tractor supply and the feed store in Detroit lakes. Then I got three from a friend and bought 5 from some one on Craigslist. So I have a few breeds. I have one silver laced wyandotte one buff orp and two black astralops. Three that look like barred rocks but all three have different legs. And then a couple Easter eggers. Along with the gold stars and red Rangers. Got our first green egg today! Then I have one Cochin bantam and one micro bantam. The 5 I got on Craigslist two look like blue grey Cochins one looks like a buff orp and one looks barred rock and the last is really small and pure white. The guy I got them from works on the farm they were hatched on on weekends and knew nothing about chickens. Apparently the mom hatched them then left them so he took them to his apartment in Moorhead and sold them. $4 a piece.
Are you looking for a certain breed? Check Craigslist, there are alot in the St. cloud area (don't remember where you're located or if you even said). Here's a good one in Becker tomorrow if you can make it: http://stcloud.craigslist.org/grd/5189331495.html. Much cheaper than ordering.

Cute pics!!!!!!!

If you're going to be in Becker getting ducks, I am just the next township east of Becker.....So,,,, You might as well stop by and get your new guineas.

If u want I have more roos. Or this coming summer I will have some Cochin roosters. Either blue black or splash.

Sold out of eggs at the farmers market in under an hour this morning. $4 a dozen and had quite a few people asking for our contact info so we can tell them when we will be back.

I guess we have an untapped market here. We were the only people selling eggs today
