Yep that is the paper I meant.
If you need anything, I am not too far away.
I am going to try and set straw bales around a fount outside to see if I can have water for them all winter as they free range.
You are ruining it for all of us guys! knock that crap off.
I tell me DW before she goes things like.
"Do I have enough clean socks and undies to get by until you get back?"
"Do you have any meals made for me?"
"Is there gas in my car?"
"When will you be back?"
By asking these questions you make your DW think you need her and cannot survive without her. While some here might think I am helpless by these questions I am actually helping my DW feel needed and wanted.
When she gets back you make sure you have some spilled flour or other things on the floor. When she asks why you didn't clean it up, you tell her, I could not find the broom, mop, dish soap and whatever else was needed to do the job.
Try to do better KloKlop!

LMBO!!! You didn't go to that 'class' did you? The one that the old husbands have for the young grooms to be?? LOL
I wish my husband would do all that sometimes, but his idea of cleaning out means fill the dumpster very indiscriminately! We did clean in the garage together last week and I am continuing on with my half of it. The house. Hopeless.
Well in my defense it was the weekend before our anniversary, so that was part of the motivation. I always rib her that she doesnt know how good she has itNo classes or special training needed!
She knows i would lose my own head without her though![]()
My DH brought me a box of Chocolate Mountain candies Saturday when he got home. Perhaps it was because I gave his so much crap when he bought a box for our friend's birthday last month and he doesn't get me squat - EVER!!! You want to know the last time I got flowers from him? 1993!
thats a very good defense, klopklop!
My dad used to tell the story that when he got married (this had to be in the 40's), his dad took him aside and told him that anytime his new wife asked him to do something, he should decide if it was a job he wanted to do. If he didnt, he was to do it so badly that she would never ever ask him to do it again!
that must be the class that minnichickiemama was refering to

Hahahaha! I love what she said! I was laughing and had to read my DH your postI think I may have shot myself in the foot...
A few weeks back DW went away on a long girls weekend. I busted my buns to not only finish my own to-do list but also to clean the whole house, do all the laundry, dishes, and clean out her garage stall which has been full of crap for months.
She is leaving for a nursing home conference for the rest of the week and says to me 'I can't wait to see what you accomplish this time...'
I've set the standard to highI suppose the house could use a little more cleaning![]()
Thanks for the link Lala, I was just thinking today that I need to find that link!welcome to the vast wide world of ways to raise chickens
I don't refrigerate, except in hot hot months when I have a lot of eggs on hands. In most of europe, it is illegal to sell refrigerated eggs. in the us, it is illegal to sell unrefrigerated eggs. as far as I can tell, no one is dying.
feather grower....is probably just high protein. there is a brand out there cashing in on the wave of chicken owners...high end stuff. your choice! I like higher protein year round and during molting I boost it up even higher.
deworming, I think I wrote a book on it in an earlier post a month or so ago on this thread. you can search worming on this thread.
you kind of have to try out and see what works for you. a lot like raising children, many different ways to do things, so many variables. very few hard and fast rules.
Hard and fast rules? water, feed, shelter.![]()
edited to add: found post on worming here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/72771/minnesota/10930#post_15797061
