Minnesota!

The tan/white one is the girl I believe based on my google searches on how to sex a cat.

And yes, some of the chickens have names. Usually the ones that I can tell apart by look or habit.

We have:
Lucille, Henrietta, Gloria, petunia, Inga, Enid, Helga, Bernice, Buck, Conrad, RedChicken, WhiteChicken, and more

Hey, I have a Petunia! Redchicken and Whitechicken? I totally get it.

Blows me away how many times a day some people post! Hundreds and hundreds!

Makes me wonder if they have a job....

Bantiesrule. I will take 50% down and hold the jacket on a layaway plan. Very reasonable interest and no interest if paid for by December 15th, 2015.

I have been waiting to get nasty gram from craigslist for posting the jacket but so far, no nasty gram and no interested parties. I would have thought some would buy the jacket.

Coffee, you have to tell the story of your son's concern over your going to Camp Day.

Its post 12893 here on the Minnesota! Thread ralphie. Go back and read it! Its a classic.

and I love the follow up to it when he checked back on her and she told him she was shopping (more "normal" behavior) and she actually was buying muckers and flannel for Freezer Camp Day. LOL. I even shared both posts with DH.

Guess what everyone? Chicken math strikes again:

The family that gave me 5 pullets last fall contacted me today, this year they have: a Red Star, a Buff Orpington, a Double Laced Barnvelder, a Dominique, a Plymouth Barred Rock Bantam, and a white Silkie Bantam, all about 7 months old.

Isn't that great? I'm a little nervous about a silkie bantam, good lord, they are small. But I have Seaquist, and Isabella, who are both small, and Ralphies Creamer roo will be smaller, so...maybe that will work fine.
