I planned on getting some from you. It's going to be a road trip for me, but I don't mind. I might even drag my 88 year-old Grandpa with. He misses the farm life and seems to appreciate my poultry journeys. Or he's just bored....that's probably more the truth

I have eggs under a broody Cochin too. All my Cochins except for 1 is broody. I only have three hens though! I can fit 7 eggs under my standard and 5 under the standard/bantam cross.

About once a month if I break them or every 3 months if I let them hatch.

What if I took incubating eggs at day 20 and stuck them under a broody?

If she was setting for a week or more, I'd say "no problem". Less than that, I'd try it but watch her close. It all depends on the hen.
