What color are your keets and their "Mommy?"

THANKS YOU Miracle! you are so precious! As far as the scared little girl goes, if she were in my flock i would probably try making her a little run away from the others and get one of the passive girls in there for her friend- she may just be a timid soul that needs to be coddled- no i don't think she is scared of you, you are a comforting presence! By the way Miracle, i thought of you, when my female goose started laying eggs, she is the only goose and maybe we will have our own miracles some day- you have taught us that- Miracles are blessings!

The keets are pearl, pied pearl, brown, lavender, pied lavender, and light lavender. Little Bit is a pearl but the eggs came from all the guinea hens. Little Bit just had the honor of doing the hard work - sitting on them. The guinea hens are lavender and pearl. The males of the flock are pearl, brown, lavender, and pied lavender. The chicken just happened to have been broody. Her chicken eggs spoiled and we threw them out but she continued to be broody sooooooo- we gave her some of the guinea eggs because she is such a wonderful mother. Her whole life just lights up when she has a flock of babies to take care of.

She throws her chest out and struts around just daring anything to bother those little ones.

The humans around here love it when she does all the work. They just provide the food and water and lock them up at night. No light bulbs or mess to clean up and she teaches the keets all they need to know. Of course these little ones have the whole flock to take care of them. When they get older they will get chased some and will become a subflock of their own but for now they just belong to the flock and Chicken Chicken.

Mena where are you?? I don't suppose the bat signal in the sky would get her attention - anyone have a Chicken signal???

I sent her a Xmas card and picture of one of my hybrid plants I named "Believe in Miracles." But no response. I am thinking she may have moved. I hope she hasn't gotten out of chickens and guineas. Anyone on here know her personally?? Is she okay??
