Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

Quote:
its been a long time since you last posted how is every one? can you post some pics please? (looks like a vulture i find her very cool)

I have enjoyed Miracle's story so very much, thank you Mena for sharing it with all of us. I am currently stuck at home, with a possibly ruptured disk in my back & I'm very down...I found this thread and read through every page. It has reminded me of how great life is, and how much I need to focus on what is wonderful about it, instead of what is wrong with it.

Thank you Miracle, for sharing your sweet life with me and getting me out of my funk!

Mena hasn't posted in a long time. One of her friends told me she was mainly on another site (I believe non-chicken) but I can't recall which. Miracle really affected a lot of people in a very positive way. I hybridize streptocarpus plants and I had sent her photos of my "Believe in Miracles." Mena sent me some "Miracle" feathers after she passed. I have a small memory garden for Miracle, in case her spirit ever visits my area.

Wow!! I am so glad this was bumped up! I read all 84 pages tonight...laughed..cried..& laughed..& cried some more! This is a truly heart warming story. I would love to know if there has been book published. I love how God puts "Miracles" in our lives to bless us & show us the answer to the puzzles in life. I noticed that Mena said she was taking care of parents.. hope all is well there. Thank you so much for sharing this story.

Hello from Miracle,

I'm still here but I have been really quiet for a while now. Something funny happened this week that I wanted to tell you about. Mena decided to do something special for all the chickens and guineas because it is Christmas. She cooked them a special surprise. When she brought it out to them she called it GRITS. How silly of her. All the birds knew it was really CORN. The chickens started gobbling it up as soon as she sat the bowl down. Chickens are like that when it comes to food. Now my guinea family is much more picky about what they eat. They turned their heads sideways and gave it a really close eyeball before they started eating. There was milk in it so the cats came out and ate with the
birds. Cats and birds are not usually very good friends but we get along pretty well. The cats don't like it when the chickens sling food in their faces so they close their eyes while they eat.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!!

Miracle
