Oh, Mayo, for sure...homemade with fresh eggs, yum! I'm one of those that will just skip the food entirely if MW is the only option.

Once you've made mayo with eggyolks, you'll realize that something must be wrong, because everything, in the store is white...Also, if there's more than eggyolks, oil, vinegar, lemon juice, and salt, you are buying something that doesn't need to be in there.
 
Born and raised in the Midwest, so Miracle Whip for me. I even converted my CA born husband to it. I do want to try and make my own mayo though just to see what all the hubbub is about

I don't like the taste of mayo on sandwiches or salads. I love MW!

However with my mother's potato salad, it HAS to have Hellman's Mayo, the finest! If she uses MW, its too sweet and overpowers the egg and potato taste.

MW on sandwiches and seven layer salads. Yummy!

Hated tarter sauces made with mayo or MW. Give me malt vinegar for my fish dishes!
 
Mayo....... can't stand MW, too sour to me. First time I tried it I thought my friend gave me a sandwich with spoiled mayo....

My favorite mayo is the type they use on Subway sandwiches, I use to steal the packets to use on my home made sandwiches.... anyone know if they sell theirs?

MW only, don't much like mayo, and of them, Hellman's is the worst and Duke's the best.

One of these days I'll try making my own -- but I really like MW.
 
I've changed over the years. Growing up and all through my 20's, it was Miracle Whip. Then I suddenly got sick of the tanginess and switched to Mayo. Then last year after a serious illness, I was instructed to go on a low-fat diet, so I switched to Fat Free Mayo. At first I hated it, then I discovered Cain's Fat Free Mayo is actually pretty good! Took a little getting used to, but I've adjusted. Only if I'm out somewhere and get full fat mayo on a sandwich or something do I remember the taste difference.
