MISS CHOOK'S FOUR 4TH OF JULY VISITORS

* Looked out the window to check on Miss C before I start to get ready to visit my kids for the 4th-- and, low and behold, she has visitors of her own!! Four round orange-legged, long-beaked white ibisssss where eating off the ground right outside her pen!! Never had them right in the yard before. Wonder if she thinks they're strange chickens or if they think she's a strange ibis.

That must have been so cool! I agree, you have to wonder what's going through the hen's mind when she sees them.

Oh that's so cool! I had to search what an ibis is lol, they are pretty, and to have them stop in your yard!!

* There are these kinda light chocolate brown ones around, too. They are a bit shorter than the white ones. Haven't had them in the yard so far.

* Those we don't get-- at least not here. I think they need shrimp to maintain that color, like flamingoes (which I haven't had in the yard either!
