    You've lost me... All of the files that I've uploaded are .jpg

    It doesn't matter if the file is .jpg or .jpeg they are the same file format and the software sees them as the same.

    ok go to upload at the top of your screen and it will say in restrictios only accepts jpeg,gif, and png all my files are in jpg

    Yes, what that means is that it will accept files encoded in the JPEG format. Such files end in a .jpg or .jpeg file extension.

    I'm having the same problem as Mario49. The picture I wanted to use is in JPG format, and when I try to upload it to resize and use for avatar, I get an error message that says wrong filetype. I hate to bothor you with this but I appreciate any help you can offer.
