Missed the Easter hatchalong, anyone else setting 4/10?

, this whole incubator thing always just seems to take way longer than under a broody.

I am just about to fall over with impatience!

Especially since all of mine are shipped eggs..... even with some clearly healthy and with tiny chicks NOW, I still might end up with a 0% hatch!!



I don't think I can manage to wait over a week!

I know!!! My incubator is on lockdown right now and the anticipation is just about to do me in. It doesn't help that the incubator is sitting right here beside me on the table. I keep peering down through the window every few minutes (it's shameful, really). There are a couple of rockers, but no pips that I can see.
Why, oh why, do I torment myself so....

Not only do I have rockers, I now have PIPPERS and a ZIPPER!

And, boy, are they N-O-I-S-Y! (And...these were refrigerated eggs)

yes, that is me.

However, our very first bird of spring has shown up, and we have one inch of thawed ground in the vegetable garden....so we are getting close to no snow!
