Welcome to BYC - sorry for the circumstances. The game cam is a good idea. It may be a person or it may be a coyote, fox, bobcat. All are feeding young now and hunting constantly.

I usually bring them in but with the nice weather I figured one night out would be fine! They hate when I make them go in at night!Very good reason to not only lock your run but make sure it is secure top and bottom.
I’ll try and get a picture later tonight when I get home! I looked for signs of foxes thinking maybe with the spring babies coming but haven’t seen any signs! We do get coyotes in our back field but these guys aren’t far from my house!U have a picture of the damaged coop? That would help in identifying the culprit! Look at the ground for foot/ paw prints. Thats the really only way.
Otherwise we just speculating and is a waste of time!
I can see his back yard through our other neighbors tree line. But i can only see one side I tried driving around to look for them In case they just got out and wandered! We have a pond nearby so I checked there too but no luckHow devastating! I've had a hen stolen from me once, one of my prized silkie girls. I asked my neighbor and I think he panicked and said he "found her", even though she vanished overnight after I put her to bed in the coop! He lying for sure, but he gave her back with no trouble. The nerve of some people. I really think your neighbor took them, and the one drake you found was accidentally dropped. Is there any way you can sneak and look into his yard to see if there are any signs of your ducks?
