Missing Duck

Hello Everyone,

I have a muscovy duck that has been missing for a day or two now. We figured out she is female and we have a male muscovy too. We think she has a nest somewhere but have no idea where to even start looking for it and to find her too with it. Any suggestions? We live in the country not the city so we have woods.

Unless she's near water, I would think she would come back for food if she was nesting? Or that the drake would be with her?

The drake seems to stay nearby in one area on our property so i am thinking about looking in that area but I don't want to startle her.

It would be better for you to find her rather than a predator find her. If he'hanging out in an area most of the time most likely you'll find her there. Hope so anyway. And
