My Coop
Hi everyone! So I noticed that four quail eggs have randomly disappeared over the course of the night. We have their coop on the ground, and we have chicken wire around the caged coop part. I’m thinking maybe rats might be going in to try and get the eggs? I’ve noticed this the past three days. Wondering if they might eventually try and go after my birds, too? You can kind of see the wire we have going on in the background.

Doesn't look very 'predator proof', needs either base boards, concrete blocks, metal siding or rocks around the perimeter of the wire. Also an apron extending out from the wire at least 2 feet and 6" to 8" beneath the soil, would go a long way in beefing up the security of the pen.

Thank you for the advice! I’ll be making some adjustments next week :)!
