Mission Impossible: Turkey Eggs

Oh maybe I should make a thread about my bush babies... There is a huge flock of feral chickens where I live, and I’ve hatched a total of 14 eggs from them. I’ve got six eggs from them at day two in ‘bator, and three such eggs from feral mallards at day 10 or 11.
Yes, you should!

You are a better person than me then... i could not work for or even volunteer for someone who neglected their animals. Period.
I'm actually quitting at the end of the month. I've had enough of working there and I'm getting too busy.

We're in business, folks!
So.. I really like your set up... Except i can't see anything!
Do you know how often i look at my eggs during incubation?! My thermo/hygrometer unit sits inside, so everytime i walk by i glance in.
But that's a very minor complaint when you have an automatic light bulb.
Any plans for a small fan in the future?

A viewing window will likely be added if one of these eggs actually starts to develop. As for a fan, I just saw one lying around somewhere. That's something to be thought on, as I don't yet know how I would do that efficiently. Currently, everything (temp, humidity) is set up for a still-air incubator.

For a window, you could get two sheets of clear "projector plastic" (the clear sheets of plastic they print words on so you can put it on a projector), cut a hole in the cooler, tape one sheet to the outside, and the other to the inside. The air between two sheets will help maintain the temp.
Might be able to do that this weekend.
