It's going to be busy. I'm behind on several tasks, one of which has a deadline today. With another board meeting in Melbourne this Tuesday and rec leave as of Monday week, even if I work through the weekend, I'll still be behind and catching up while on leave.

But at least I'll be working where I can see the hens going about their business

That's rough having to work through your break to catch up. Still, @ least you can work from home with Blossom, Mary, Janet & Sandy for company.

I am working my way through a variety of unpleasant tasks I have been putting off. I hate paperwork! And Making up a bedroom for my girl. She is likely to lose all her wall while she is home but she has been warned. We have to grab the boys while we can!

Mostly it's just a matter of making up her bed. if she's lucky her favourite flower [Murraya] will be out & I can put a small vase of them in her room before she arrives.

All our downstairs bedrooms are really small so we are knocking out all the walls to turn 3 rooms into 2. Next time she's home we should be all done & she can be more settled.

I'm afraid if we knocked out half a wall (so you could see into dining room from kitchen) the whole house would collapse.A builder friend said it would be okay because it wasn't a supporting wall. But still Our house is a bi-level, so the first floor has nothing above it but roof.

Hi I love what I do - it's more my lifestyle than work. It would be a hobby if I earned money through some other job. But when it takes the weekend, there are fewer loved ones I can spend time with, less diversity in how I spend time, so it's a problem.
