MJ's little flock

So exciting! :woot

But uh oh. Are you going to have to move your hills hoist? Or is that just an optical illusion from the camera angle?
Actually it's on the "thank you and goodnight" list. Now, I realise this is an un-Australian thing to say but it doesnt turn or go up and down, and the cable is rusted so much it stains the clean clothes. I'm replacing it with a moee open feeling in the backyard and a celing mounted clothes hoist in the laundry.

This is exciting! It’s finally happening. What a great feeling, right? :celebrate
It's very satisfying :) I'm a little too preoccupied observing progress and making sure it's going ok for excitement but I'm very pleased. I was excited when all the things arrived!

I'd forgotten...:thI'm glad it was a good suggestion. :D
It was a long time ago. No wonder it slipped your mind.

I came up with the idea of "enclosure now, roost box later" which is how the project got underway.

My next chicken related build will be a proper side gate.

Something like this one but between the house and side fence.

I hate Hills Hoists & refused to have one. 😲

Help me out folks.

My retired uncle recently gave a whole day of his life to help me out. Please suggest a thank you gift. His hobbies are riding his fancy bike every day in a sporty way and making bread in his breadmaker.

He loves lollies and chocolates but I just gave him some for Christmas.
