It's Monday morning here and it's cool and overcast. I don't have any obligations at the office, so I'll be working at home today.

Sunday was very relaxing and also productive - I spent the afternoon working.

I'm so excited at last it's my turn for covid-19 vaccination! Yay!!

Earliest available appointment is Friday morning and it will be the astra zeneca vaccine huzzah!

Hrumph. By the time the booking system let me see the dates, the first available appointment was on the 17th. Oh well. At least I'm booked in.

Australia is vaccinating everyone (except those who are very high risk or who want to opt out) and to ensure most needy go first, there are five levels of need (IIRC). 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, everyone else. I'm in 2a and we got the greenlight this morning!

So, even though I'd gladly have been vaccinated sooner, it wasn't possible.

I just flew for business and I would never have done it without being vaccinated. It just has to be unsafe.
