MJ's little flock

I just flew for business and I would never have done it without being vaccinated. It just has to be unsafe.
This is exactly my reason for joining a board meeting via zoom tomorrow instead of flying to Sydney.

(Also, I don't want to be away from the hens :gig)

Australia is vaccinating everyone (except those who are very high risk or who want to opt out) and to ensure most needy go first, there are five levels of need (IIRC). 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, everyone else. I'm in 2a and we got the greenlight this morning!

So, even though I'd gladly have been vaccinated sooner, it wasn't possible.
Same principle here but at least in my state the rules were a little lax. Basically if doses were left at the end if the day they gave them to whoever was around rather than throwing them away.
It led to some bizarre things - like 40% of over 18 year olds having had a shot when it was only officially available for the over 65s, but it actually worked and we are one of the most vaccinated states in the US.

I haven’t heard anything about vaccinations yet. :(
