MJ's little flock

Who was it said that Cockatoos are destructive? It was either MJ or Ribh I think.

I know that they often break the ends of branches off trees but today I saw some interesting behaviour between "my" cockatoo and a flock mate.

They were both in one of my Blue Gums more or less facing each other on different branches. One would make eye contact with the other, snip the end off a branch or pull off some bark, then drop it to the ground. There would be a short pause while they eyed each other , then the other cocky would do the same thing. They kept this up for about 10 minutes.

I swear it looked like they were raising the stakes in poker.
"I'll see your branch and raise you a piece of bark. Now what will you do?"
"I'll see your bark and raise you this leafy bit. Top that!"
