I imagine my first glance at the chick will be when the mums are ready to bring it out.

For now, every time I hear peeping I'm announcing it here.

Once it's more constant, i won't bother announcing it any more.

Right now, there's no peeping.

Now would be the perfect time to hop in the shower and eat breakfast. A lot can happen in 30 minutes and who knows, you may come back out to a chick peeking out at you.
