You earned them!I think that's the first time those words have ever been used to describe me![]()
It looks marvelous. A great place to work. In very happy for you.I've taken a photo of the furnished study.
The trapdoor is in the far right corner and there's space for a comfy chair in the near right corner, which is out of view.
It still has to be painted. I've put that task on the wait list for the painter who works on this year's veranda rebuild project.

A lovely study nook! I've got one of those kneeling chairs, but I can't use it anymore as it puts too much pressure on my knees.I've taken a photo of the furnished study.

I'm having mixed feelings about the kneeling chair! It's definitely improving my back and posture, but it gives me fatigue between my shoulder blades. To be fair, that may have something to do with the height of my screen. The old knees are coping fine now but it was a struggle for a while. I also find I have no energy left by around 3.30pm because I'm using it to stay upright, so that's when I tumble into a comfy chair and do a bit of emailing or reading.A lovely study nook! And I've just noticed you changed your footer to include Magnus.![]()
I find that a bit hard to believe MJ.I think that's the first time those words have ever been used to describe me![]()

I'm coupling it with back bend stretches and sideways leg lifts every 25 minutes to strengthen other parts of my body, which after years and years of desk work became little more than noodles without me even realising it!
I may end up switching it out for an ergonomic swivel desk chair if I can find one upholstered in a beautiful fabric. I'm so done with ugly work furniture. It'd be good to have a swivel chair so I can spin around to face the bureau when needs be (as they seem to a few times a day).
It seemed right to record the little one's short life in the signature.
The bottle of grog holding the door open is a bit concerning MJ. Things aren't that grim are they?I've taken a photo of the furnished study.
