MJ's little flock

It looks like a digestive blockage to me. Which adds up when I recall she shed some digestive gut lining a few times. But what could be blocking her? Maybe a tumour? I hope Mark decides to take an image.

I'm glad I got the photo. I'll show it to at least one of the nurses when Christa goes for her injection tomorrow.

I have faith in Dr. Mark.

I was reading about lasalocid sodium toxicity in calves. There was lasalocid sodium in the pullet grower pellets because it's a coccidiostat. Maybe they put too much in at the mill? But surely all three would be sick if that were the case.

Snowy is in broody jail. As much as I hate broody jail, I am concerned about how little she is eating. She is noticeably lighter when I pick her up. She has day release; as Nyssa has stopped laying again for the summer, I’ve shut off the nests. She’s spending the night in the bathroom perched on a brick. Hopefully it will only take a couple of nights.

She must be feeling healthy if she wants to brood. She'll put the weight back on, it won't take long.

Yes, all three would be sick.

I hate to break them as well but sometimes it is necessary. Tough love is important sometimes.
