MJ's little flock

Today Lorna only had one crop-feed, at breakfast. I think she's done OK. I'll continue weighing her four times daily for the foreseeable future and will crop-feed her again if she has two readings in a row in the 800s. Really hoping it doesn't come to that, because I think this morning's collapse might've been because she's sore from so much crop-feeding.

She's lost weight :( if she's less than 900g at her next weighing, I'll have to feed her.

She seems to want to eat tiny crumbs of food, so I've blitzed the pellets and put some pellet crumbs down for her. She's drinking extremely well.
I so hope she picks up. :hugs

903g, thank goodness I don't have to feed her.

That said, my fear of hurting her is causing her weight gain to fall below the trend line. For now, I'll stick to my preference to crop feed her only if she has two weights in a row below 900g, but I may change it later depending on how she fares.

She approves of the chopped up pellets, but not the mash (although her friends are keen on it). Today's lunchtime mash has pellets, liquid food, milk thistle, probiotic water, and a small tomato.

She continues to drink a lot of water and she seems to have more energy than usual.
