If a shark was washed over the wall, I imagine that a) it would be quite small and b) you’d see it. I’m not sure whether you’d find a blue-ring octopus in there; they might prefer much smaller rock-pools.

I read a book on the train recently and a bunch of kids got on with their scooters. They saw me and started staring. Maybe they'd never seen someone reading on the train before?

Mechanical, electric and mobility. The kids on the train had mechanical scooters. There's a chap in my neighbourhood who barrels around the place on his mobility scooter. Recently I nearly cleaned him up as I was backing out of the driveway. So I switched to backing in and driving out. Much safer for anyone on the footpath.

We have electified scooters here that one can hire which are legal and are supposed to be ridden on the road. We also have lots of completely illegal scooters some of which have been tuned up.

The students use the scooters most in the city and they are a total menace.
