MJ's little flock

Poor baby. That is heartbreaking. 😢
At least she still has that eye and I think her longer-range vision is fine. She often looks at me from several metres away with a direct, front on gaze. It's when she gets within a metre she begins to look out of her good eye.
 
I wanted to share a few photos of hens riding in the car on Manue's thread and in searching through the photo library, I found these old chestnuts.

Thanks for sharing these and all the ones from trips to the vets on my thread.
It's a bit emotional to look at past pictures of chickens, mostly in a good way- a trip down memory lane.
The drive to the vet from your house is much longer than the drives I've had to take to the vet, but I sincerely think the hens are OK with being in the car and some of them seem to enjoy it. But they love being home again and (I imagine) are keen to share their news with their friends.
