MJ's little flock

Just taking time to whinge...

I'm replacing my car at present. I don't like buying cars without an independent inspection. So in the past, I've bought inspections from the RAA. They're reliable and they're willing to inspect at the sellers home. Easy peasey.

Until a seller says, "I advise you to save your money. The car has been serviced."

Riiiiiiiight.

If they don't want their car inspected, why don't they just say so?? Decline the inspection and I will move on to the next car on my list.

Instead, it's back and forth with me insisting and them pretending they have another buyer and me saying hey no problem, wish you well and them saying well an inspection is inconvenient and me saying they come to your home and them saying I'll have to check my availability and me saying hey, no rush, when you're ready.

:barnie

For crying out loud, just say an outright No or an outright OK!!!
Sounds like something you should just walk away from.

Good luck with the next seller for your wannabe your new car. 🚗
I'm enquiring on a different car each day after I get home from work, just to keep the project ticking along.

Today I enquired with a registered member of the Motor Traders Association instead of with a private seller. Hopefully they will be more professional in their conduct.

Guess who is in the double berth nest this very moment, waiting for her first egg of the season to arrive?
