I start resting easier once they are 6 weeks old. Then they are fully feathered and good to go. You are almost there!

I suppose there's a risk of heat stress when chicks aren't fully feathered.

Nobody's getting too cold today, that's for sure!

Oh I'm so sorry.

I'm so glad he had family around him, such a comfort and one so many people miss out on.

What a wonderful fellow he was. I will never forget how generously he shared his wisdom.

I am so glad your kids are able to be with you.
