It was! I supported some younger people in achieving their aspirations. I managed to win an argument with cold logic, which is a surprisingly hard thing to do. Anyway, the project is heading in a more productive direction now. I did a little data entry (thankfully very little) and I got my tax done which was nice because I've had the same tax guy for years and years and he's got a lot of joie de vivre so it's always a delightful chat. Then I brushed up on my stats ahead of a meeting this morning, nothing fancy just the t-test, but it's good to check and reconstruct my understanding. So, was it a good one?
Only the usual quick face saving scraps MJ. Working on the wood stuff of course. One day blurs into the next here. It's rather pleasant. I watch the weather rather than the clock. A bit dull for many I suspect. It was! I supported some younger people in achieving their aspirations. I managed to win an argument with cold logic, which is a surprisingly hard thing to do. What's the news from your place Shad? Tribes rolling along as usual? Are the roosters still fighting too much?
I look forward to living like that once I relinquish work. I hope my future canal boat super-long holiday safely transitions my head from busy busy busy to watching the weather like you do.Only the usual quick face saving scraps MJ. We are weather watchers too. Busy, busy, busy just tires me out these days & makes me a grumpy old lady. Pottering with chickens & crotchet & gardening suits me much better.Only the usual quick face saving scraps MJ. Working on the wood stuff of course. One day blurs into the next here.
