MJ's little flock

Hi MJ :frow we had a rainy and morning, its now a little warmer.. I worked on more cookies, its taking me a very !omg time to get things done :( I keep getting tired. We now have Amish sugar cookies, Snickerdoodles and cranberry biscotti.
Snickerdoodles? I'm going to have to look that up.

Good job baking! Our Christmas won't have many baked goods and no home baking at all. There'll be a little roasting though. Lots and lots of salads and cold meats like ham, chicken and prawns.

That sounds lovely, salads and yummy prawns :drool My foster mom would make them every year along with other goodies. She would bake for days and them package them up and deliver them to family and friends.

The three amigos in the morning. Just relaxing while I drink my tea.

If ever there was a job for chickens, this has to be the one.
Janet has asked me to submit her curriculum vitae:

Just imagine a whole flock in there - would be cleaned up in no-time and they would also provide friendly advice and supervision to the people putting the train back together!

And the chicken clean up would be so much gentler on the environment!

I'd put a temporary enclosure around the scene to prevent escapees and predation, get some water happening, bring in a few hundred fluffy butts, and leave them to it for a week. They can roost on the crashed out train.

Plenty of poops to nourish the soil. Good grain clean up.

Happy chickens.
