Good evening everyone 😊

She looks very content 😍

I think the enzymes are supporting her digestion. Her poops are looking much better. I reduced the size of her dinner, that way all the enzymes go into her instead of half the dose being wasted. Last night's dinner time was a breeze compared to previous nights, so I think the new dining regime is becoming habitual.

That is great news.

I'm looking forward to her checkup. It may be she needs a few more enzymes because while her poops are much improved, they're still not as good as everyone else's. But at least the new dinner arrangements will support accuracy in dosing.
You should be very pleased. Everyone, including you, has adapted well to this change.

I think it makes sense to watch and adapt to what the chickens need. As for the hens adapting, they're very clever little things really. Ivy has been fretful all morning and Peggy made an extraordinarily loud egg song. All because Janet wants to be in the nest and according to Ivy and Peggy THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENS!!! Whereas Mary's seen Janet on the nest so many times she hasn't bothered to say anything, but she's keeping watch while Jan sits and thinks about an egg.

She did it!

It's her first egg after her moult and bad eye. Peggy is trying to get some recognition because she warmed up the nest for Janet, you know! It was extremely cold at first, you know!

So that's egg number 50 for Janet in 2020.

Peggy has provided 72. Ivy, 20. Mary, 16. I'm very grateful to these little feathered friends of mine :love
