People who know microwaves: do I need to worry about the tiny staples holding the string to the tea bag and to the tag?

Wouldn't you just heat the water in the microwave and add the teabag after?

Yes, that's what I thought too but then someone said they bung the teabag into the microwave too. I've lost track of who said it, but I think it might've been on BY Bob's thread.

This time I showed the tea strainer in use in case anyone is curious about it.

I don't often use the orange tea cup but I was in the mood for it. It was a gift from one of my long time besties The saucer is all swirly and nice to look at.

Janet's amazing eggs on toast. I swear her eggs are a deeper eggy flavour than the others' eggs. Scrumptious!

When I was still living in the UK, my then partner and I bought a piece of pottery for some frineds each year as a present. Very modern and lots of shape and colour but I can't remember the name of the potter!!
