I'm such a traitor I took Ivy from her nest and put her on the roost at dusk. It was too early. She woke up and became worried after about 15 minutes it was so dark, she gave up and joined Peggy and Janet on the roost. Damn. Broke both our hearts

I feel so guilty every time I remove a hen from her nest & Alpia is pathetic. She looks @ me so reproachfully & she is so sweet about it.
