That is awesome. I love watching them discover new territory.

It's been slightly worrying because the fencing is not adequate for keeping dogs out, but I haven't been visited by a dog for three years. So, I'm letting them out of the yard when I'm there to watch over them.

In any case, their yard is huge with lots of room for running around.

I've found mine object on those days they have to be confined. Once they've experienced the extra freedom they always want to be out!

So far, I've observed the opposite. A bit of foraging, then back in the yard to eat their favourite plants and bathe in their favourite dust holes.

Maybe that will change with time.
