MJ's little flock

There are lots of those.
One I hadn't heard for a while is, none too shabby. There is also the standard, not too bad; never good mind you.:D
"None too shabby" strikes me as very high praise! "Not too bad" is merely high praise.

Yup, one has to be a bit mindfull. So many words have different meanings from nationality to nationality.
I was a bit shocked when I read, "ooh, they are so precious."
Here precious is not a nice thing to call someone. It is usually reserved for bratty little teenagers and pre teens who are in need of a bit of straight talking.
I think it's rather like Snowflake in the US before the term became politicized.
I was surprised when I saw people using precious in a positive way! Someone who's precious is someone who isn't robust of character.

I remember you saying that and it works with cats so I gave it a go. Mostly I got ignored, but one time someone pecked me on the ankle in a 'hey, pay attention to us!' sort of way!
:lau
🤔

My hens are weirdos.

I think I've mentioned before that if the hens make eye contact with me and I slowly close my eyes, they think it's safe to close theirs too.

Has anyone else tried it?
Yes! I do that with the chickens here.:love

Here you are ACM, before and after shots.

They're still not 100% perfect, but they're on the way.

And here's a bonus shot of the jug in the bath. The water is not black, the alfoil is. I had to shape some alfoil to fit around the jug under the spout, that's why it looks a little funny in that area. The handle is fully submerged.
