I've got the car back! toot toot! Picked it up late yesterday. It's good as gold now and they washed it for me too!

The clutch cylinders weren't working because the o-rings were old and no longer making a seal, so no fluid was going in.

It's a relief to have it back again. I did the gift shopping immediately. There's still one more gift to get today and a few other little things, and I've got some house cleaning to do, but otherwise I'm ready for Christmas!

And a car for when you are on holiday! Awesome!

It felt great when I called the last meeting closed at 4.45pm yesterday. We said Merry Christmas and farewell with big smiles and joy all round. I've still got a couple of tasks to do before the support staff return on the 4th but it can wait for a couple of days actually it can wait til I get back in February but not without upsetting others.

Haha yes, I'm spoilt for choice! Pair of plonkers they are. See an egg, plonk yourself down! See a nest? Plonk!

Actually it's almost time for Ivy to get up again and Mary never really lasts the full 21 days, so perhaps I'll have the pleasure of all four hens company at some point in January.

I did have it. I rarely get anxious over work because I love it but it had been a hard December at the end of a hard year.

I believe that depending on job initial annual leave in the US is 10 or 15 days to start.

My last position had unlimited leave but once you get high enough in an organization to have unlimited leave you can never take more than a week or so and still get the job done. They do that so if you leave the organization you don't have a huge bank of time for which they need to pay you. When I moved up to unlimited leave i had a huge bank of leave built up which I then lost. No bitterness here. Nope. None.
