I doubt i could safely carry a larger one once it was filled. I don't mind the small size, it will keep me changing the water regularly. Those do look nice (if a bit small)

OHhhhh of course. I should have noticed that. I'm completely unaccustomed to considering freezing temps.I was all kinds of excited and then I saw this:
- Great for indoor and outdoor use (will not withstand below freezing temperatures)

I believe one or two toes might be possible. The big thrill will come when Mary's beak is dirty then she can dip it in to wash it clean and transfer dirt to the water! Will they be able to step in the water first? If not, I bet they wont enjoy the taste.![]()
It's beautiful! Such a change in colour! I have a good feeling about this ACM. I may have to find one to accompany my tea habit.
For a suburban beach it's often very quiet. Maybe because Adelaide has so many beaches? People prefer the ones with cafes and restaurants, me too sometimes!Look at all that lovely fresh air, water and sandy expanse! No problem social distancing there MJ.
I couldn't work out what to look at in your lizard photo. Would a stumpy lizard be the same as a shingle back?

Oh I didn't mean yours, I meant the US ones you sent the link to. They are pretty but small.I doubt i could safely carry a larger one once it was filled. I don't mind the small size, it will keep me changing the water regularly.
That is a wonderful way to look at things!I think we are thinking about the 'catching up' on posts all wrong. Ages ago I likened this cluster of threads to a family holiday reunion. We wander into rooms and chat and then into other rooms and chat with other people and we miss stuff, and we ask each other what's new and that is all OK. You can't be in every conversation in every room but that doesn't mean you aren't part of the family!
I am definitely living freezing temps right now!O

Nice strategy. I bet that works pretty well.Ah true about catching up if I meant keeping up, but I was starting from the beginning like I did with bybobs thread
Thread #3 I cheated and did what I do with other very long/old threads and read every few pages and or skimmed along going back only if it was obvious I missed something important, then reading the last few months more carefully.
