MJ's little flock

Welcome back beautiful! It's great to see her again.

Do you think she feels like a failure every time she gives up and no chicks are born? 😕
Actually she seems happy every time, which makes sense if she's fed up with spending her time in the one place.

That said, I think she'd be very happy to hatch chicks too.

When the time comes, even though I don't really like the idea of breeds, I'll get her a half dozen Appenzeller Spitzhauben eggs from interstate - I don't think there are any where I live. That way, any cockerels will have a better chance of finding longterm homes and not being eaten.

Hi Veb :frow

I've never used pumpkin seeds as a treatment for worms. I use something called Kilverm which has levamisole in it to really knock the worms out while keeping the chooks and people safe.

There are some treatments that are even better than Kilverm. I think @Ribh @LozzyR @Aussie-Chookmum or @Scrambles83 will know of some good ones in Australia.
The Kilverm is what I normally use. The Vet gave me something unidentifiable last time I full on wormed everybody.

Punch.
