Oh yes I definitely believe in the platypus. As a kid my favorite stuffed toy was a home-made platypus. I suspect not very anatomically correct - he was made from brown fabric that used to be my Mom's bath robe.

I once saw one in the wild! It was a thrill. I was in Hobart and we took a walk and saw the platypus swimming in a small reservoir.

Oh they are cute!
You guys need to emphasize more of the cuteness and less of the deadliness in you wildlife.

I have no idea how many Australian marsupials there are, lots and lots, and I will probably never learn them all, but many of them look much like mice.

Yes she did. She was artsy and creative and hated waste so brown fabric had to become something when her robe wore out.
I also had a much loved crocodile made from some green corduroy pants that had seen better days.

It is my favourite Aussie animal! I saw one at a local waterfall one day in my early 20’s, very awesome
