MJ's little flock

It's a silent foggy morning and the hens didn't want to leave the big coop for the funrun
First time that's ever happened! Janet and Ivy were sitting down, both Mary and Peggy were like statues, just moving a little.

I didn't force them out, I left them in there. I'll go back later to see if they're ready for action.
Sometimes you just want to be lazy in the morning.

Good evening MJ and everyone 😊😴

Oh, just wobbling through the days and doing the normal stuff, like chicken care, taking care of the house and cooking occasionally. Finally got in to see a Neurologist the other day, and she agrees that I don't need to working with children anymore. It wouldn't be safe, with my wobbles and headaches. Thank you for asking 😊
Will it be a big loss to you to not work with children any longer or are you ready to stop? :hugs

Mrs BY Bob beat me up this morning 😉 and made me breakfast in bed! Lilly and Hattie eggs with a piece of leftover sirloin and sourdough toast. 😋

Is work an important part of your identity? Many people look forward to giving it up, but others not so much. If it's important, is there something else you'd find satisfying?

Congrats! That really could be why. "Cranking" back up.
I'm glad she's laying again. Ivy stopped a day or two after Janet started, so with Peggy in the mix, I'm back up to two slow-laying hens, which is just about right. I'm wondering if Mary might even have a short season coming up.
