The hens took the pop door in their stride today! No nonsense, just zooming on through to the funrun.

We're still working on coming out of the pop door in the afternoons. Peggy caught on first, then Janet, Ivy used it last night, but Mary needs more time to consider her options.

It always takes her a while to observe what's going on around her. I actually have a slight worry about her vision, but she doesn't bump into things, so I guess she's just a ponderous thinker.

Chickens love when there are new “things” in their yard to explore. We cut a couple trees down and dragged them into the yard (we are going to cut them up) and now our girls like to perch on them.
