The dusky light really brought out her iridescence.

By the way, I'm still working on keeping sparrows out of the funrun. They get in but they can't get out again. It's not ideal for them. These days, they're exploiting small openings where the wire sheets overlap. I've been trying the openings shut one by one. Eventually the sparrows won't be able to get in.

Charlie’s all good again, River’s still not the best. However, the mucky beard feathers seem to be a little less and she does eat, just not the feed. Yesterday she was standing on the step with her tail down and her eyes half-closed, but a while later I found her digging a hole to China! I’ve been giving her crop a bit of a massage at night and fencing her off so she can have yoghurt with baby bird formula in peace.
