MJ's little flock

What a great day! I had to look up crazy eights - sounds like heaps of fun :clap
We remembered to take the game ‘Telestrations’ with us for Christmas. It’s a cross between Chinese Whispers/Telephone and Pictionary. You pick a word/phrase from cards, write it down and pass it onto the next person. They have a minute to sketch what you’ve written. They pass it onto the next person who has to guess what the sketch is. You keep passing it around until you get your own pad back, then you see how far everyone strayed from the original topic. It’s absolutely hysterical, you have big thick textas so you can’t do anything in detail and it doesn’t matter if you can’t draw.

One of the best games the other night was when my sister got the word ‘caviar’. By the time it reached me it had evolved to ‘fish taco’ but DH couldn’t draw a taco. I had absolutely no idea what the taco was also I wrote down ‘fish hat’ (which was obviously not what the original word was but that’s half the fun!) So my brother drew this:

We all had tears pouring down our faces we were laughing so hard, it’s a great way to get your serotonin levels up! It’s the most fun when you’re playing with 7-8 people.

That's sounds amazing! 😆

Seems like they're adjusting. Is there much tukking and puffing up during the day?
I haven't noticed much. Both Pepper and Edwina were out and about without any prompting for the last few days but Edwina insists on sleeping in the nest box.
I blocked off the nest boxes yesterday so they were all forced to roost at bed time.

This morning the coop looked like this..

Looks like I won't be getting any eggs for a while. 😕

I love Telestrations.
We played it at our Japanese class Christmas party one year. One of the final drawings was Godzilla eating a paddlepop. I've no idea what the original word was. 🤣
