I don't know much about the local hawks, but I haven't seen any looking at the hens since back then. I see them at the beach every now and then where they hunt lizards and mice. I also haven't seen a fox since the council reworked all the drains but I'm sure there would be plenty about at night.I certainly can.
Brilliant. If they tell you where they are, you'll stop rummaging around the yard and then they wouldn't be able to amuse themselves with your shenanigans. It's the reverse of chicken tv.
This is how it rolls at my place:Brilliant.
I don’t have to imagine it.Mainly silly, I really ought to have checked the nests firstYou can imagine my relief when I found her.
I wish you would tell my hens that. I haven't had an egg in weeks and weeks.Molting and egg laying are not really connected. Phyllis laid during her molting phase in September. You could still get eggs. Especially since the days are long there.
I'm doing fairly well, thanks for asking. Yep, I'm keeping up with them and I only have one range of motion that's a challenge. I call it, the throwing position, it's only at 49%Hi GrammyI'm good thanks and the weather is warm but not hot. I think I'll take the plunge and get four fertile eggs for Peggy. By the time they hatch, I should have more free time to keep watch. My work is progressing and I'm satisfied with my progress but my schedule is out the window. Rather than contain my friends and family to weekends, I'm seeing them whenever and working whenever. So far it's working well, but I'm declining one in five invitations to free up enough time for work.
