They're co-habiting with remarkable peacefulness. Do I leave them be?

Well, I would...I'm no expert though. However all my banties have been co~sitting without issues ~ except for Wrold & no~one messes with Wrold.
They look very companionable there. How are the others reacting ?
Good Ole Ivy.I had a quiet moment so I pulled the straw out of the roosting part of the little coop while keeping it bulked up in the nest part, and put clean grit in there. Peggy sat through the whole operation.
I put water in there so it's convenient for chicks if they hatch. I'll put food nearby once they're hatched. The terracotta dishes didn't work out Shad, but I can go buy some especially if the plastic water container isn't ok.
Guess who went in to inspect?

Mary is preoccupied with feeling a little off due to her moult. Janet was more anxious than usual to go from the coop to the run this morning, but now she's in the run she's having a wonderful time combing through the old straw for snacks. They look very companionable there. Thanks Bob, I will do that. Have to buy marbles first.Good Ole Ivy.
You should put marbles in the water dish so the littles can't drown themselves while drinking. You can see how I used them in the photo below.

Janet is probably just rolling her eyes at all the hormonal goings on!Mary is preoccupied with feeling a little off due to her moult. Incidentally, Janet is the one hen to have never become broody.
Just regular rocks is fine - it doesn't have to be marbles! Some say marbles are less good than rocks becuase they have such slippy smooth surfaces. Thanks Bob, I will do that. Have to buy marbles first.
Do you think the clean fine grit is a suitable floor covering?
