MJ's little flock

I just realised I used the sentence "I put Mary in the tub" like it's no big deal because it really wasn't a big deal to slowly herd the entire flock into the bathroom, close the door, then corner Mary with a big towel and lift her into the bath. I closed the shower curtains to give her a sense of containment, so she'd be less inclined to try hopping out, then I left her to settle while I slowly herded the others back outside.

She was an angel to handle, trim and lift out again.

Two years ago all of that would've been unthinkable.
You've done well imo. You haven't imposed yourself upon them and while they may not be over keen on cuddles they do trust you and that makes everything easier.

That should work great!
I need to measure the existing metal bins to make sure they fit and I'd like to inspect one up close before committing to purchase, but it seems like a good option because, unlike a full sized shed, I'll have a clear view of the run while I'm in it.

Even cottage cheese wasn't enough to tempt Peggy from her bath this evening. Ivy ate up two cheese portions!
