MJ's little flock

I tried to explain the “birds and bees” of chickens to a friend this past weekend. Wow! I felt like I was teaching a biology class to a five year old.I think the five year old would have understood it.
She couldn’t grasp that there are fertile eggs and infertile eggs. And, she thought roosters lay eggs too. She didn’t even realize that chickens “do it”. :he:th
 That's quite basic knowledge. Did you tell her all birds and animals procreate through sex? Come to think of it, so do plants and corals.

Many plants do it both ways. If you see what I mean.
Hope that doesn’t get me banned from BYC!

🧐 your post is quite heavy with euphemism. Surely you'll be in the clear.

I used to think I didn't know anything about biology and then I saw Kat's post and realised there's someone who knows less than I do!

I have run into that too many times. 😆 I am always a little sad for them. Such a lack of curiosity combined with a poor education.

I am loving this new routine of sitting under the shady shrub together. It's the bee's knees! 🐝

Good evening folks :frow

Happy Easter MJ... This year it falls on my birthday. First time since I was born.
Wow. Somehow that seems sort of incredible but I never tried the math on that.
Very cool.
And in advance - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you have a lovely day and that it includes cake.
