I understand. Sometimes I'm so hectic with work I feel guilty for checking BYC. Then I feel guilty for not keeping up with the long stream of posts on Bob's thread.Hi, MJ! Sorry I haven’t been on much. I’ve popped onto Bob’s thread a bit, but think I might have to give that up (sorry, Bob, just too fast moving.) I popped onto Shad’s threax recently, too. I haven’t had much time for BYC lately, but maybe I can catch up and keep up on your thread and maybe Ribh’s. Miss you guys.
It was a very lucky shot!Haha! Amazing you caught that photo!
I believe so. Mary and Peggy had checkups recently and Peggy had gained a lot of healthy, strong weight! Janet and Ivy have their checkups soon. I worry about Jan's chronic coryza and sometimes she works hard to breathe. I'll discuss it with Mark at her checkup. I think lung failure will get her in the end. It's amazing the others haven't caught it from her. I can only assume it's because they're not crowded and because we're in a dry climate.Sorry, I forgot to ask… is all well with your flock?
Today is a public holiday and I'm going to attempt to put up the first wall panel of the roosting box and close off another potential sparrow door.
I also need to add a screw to the bracing I added to the human door. Somehow I overlooked one last time.
Then I'll start painting the next wall panel.
Well, I've only just had breakfast but to tide you over here is the painted up wall panel ready for installing. I put three coats of the best exterior paint on outside side and the edges - the inside side will be tiled with vinyl stick on tiles. And the three other wall panels waiting for their turn in the paintshop (aka the sleepout).
Yes, I very much appreciate that!I understand. Sometimes I'm so hectic with work I feel guilty for checking BYC. Then I feel guilty for not keeping up with the long stream of posts on Bob's thread.
What I'm getting at is we all have to balance our commitments and you're welcome to drop in whenever you want to, whether it's once a year or once a day. I'll always be happy to see your name and words.
If it helps at all, I do try to keep the thread's pace slow while not completely stopping.
I am a sucker for home improvement projects and this is a home improvement project for chickens so even better!Well, I've only just had breakfast but to tide you over here is the painted up wall panel ready for installing.
